Netflix and Chilllll...

So many people are quarantined right now and almost everyone here in the mitten and upper states are trying to stay warm. Between that and going into the holiday weeks of 2020, it is safe to assume a lot of Netflix and chill is about to happen... (Should we take bets on baby boomer generation number 2 coming in hot next September/October??)

Everyone is always looking for new shows and movies to watch. Here is my personal favorite list below:

Movies

Falling Inn Love- A cute, predictable story about a woman who wins herself an inn. She uproots her city life in search of her newest adventure and finds something a bit sweeter than just an inn.

Murder Mystery- Who doesn't love a good Adam Sandler movie? Ok, ok, he isn't always everyone's cup of tea, but who really doesn't love a good Jennifer Aniston movie?! Vacationing on a billionaire's yacht, a murder investigation, what could go wrong?!

A few more movies for your viewing pleasure-

TV Shows:

Grey's Anatomy- A true classic of the Generation X and Millenial generations! Who doesn't love a good Grey's episode! Whether you need a laugh or a cry, Grey's has both. Some people say it is too drawn out, but in all honesty, I think that is the Gen Xer's naysaying because it isn't the same as it used to be. (Almost like the 90210 and Melrose place franchises and remakes for the baby boomers, gen x-ers and even some millenials!) The perfect show for cuddling up on the couch or juts as background noise. Also, its a good one for maternity leave, with 17 seasons, you'll never not know what to watch!

All American- Inspired by the life of NFL player, Spencer Paysinger, All American is an intriguing story about a football player that plays in a vastly different community then which he is raised. Led by several very strong African American males and females, (hello Taye Diggs, where have you been lately?!) it just keeps getting better with each season. Binge watch seasons 1 and 2 on Netflix now, season 3 is premiering January 18th on The CW!

Queen of the South- An action filled drama, thriller that always has me at the edge of my seat. Follow Teresa as she moves from the bottom of the totem pole to a queen drug lord. It is pretty action packed but of course there are a few love story twists throughout... My favorite? How this macho 'sicaro' shows Teresa absolute loyalty. With the first four seasons on Netflix already, season 5 is currently filming and expected summer of 2021!

Check out these other great binge worthy shows-

What are some of your favorite Netflix shows and movies? We have some long cold winter months coming up ahead!
