Elfin' Around

Here we are, rounding the corner until Christmas. The day filled with so much love and many memories. But one of my favorite things- the damn elf flies back to the Jolly ole’ South pole. This elf gives me more anxiety then a million wasps chasing after me. I’m dead tired by the time my little one falls asleep and arranging an idea in my head of what this pesky thing needs to be up to is daunting. In the morning I’m in a mad rush (30 years later and I still haven’t figured out how to wake up a little early) and the last thing I want to worry about is the elf. I have a friend that has dedicated herself to this elf and comes up with the most amazing ideas #momgoals. Meanwhile, my little guy gets the boring elf- sorry dude. I’m so bad with this darn thing that we forgot his name “Don’t worry sweetie, the elf fell off Rodolph and got a concussion and forgot his name too…you can name him anything you’d like this year.” I’m sure I’m not the only parent who feels this way so check out a few easy and simple ways below that you can jazz up the fun with your pesky elf before he flies back home- you can thank me later 😉
