It's the first day of Fall!!! Yay!!! I don't know about you but in my experience Fall just doesn't get the credit it deserves. Beautiful colors, crisp temperatures, bon fires, pumpkins, oh my! Can you tell I love fall? It is by far my MOST favorite season. My family loves to be outside, we like to go for hikes, ride bikes, have bon fires, start making soups, all the comfort foods and just doing all the fall things. I know, I know all these things are so 'basic' but sometimes that is ok right?!
Look, I know if fall is here it means winter is near and not very many people appreciate winter. However, we have a few great weeks to make the best of this most perfect weather and beautiful scenery. In theme with my #Positivity post and challenge for this year, let's try to just make the best of the season! To help get ya started, we made a Fall Scavenger Hunt and a Fall Bucket List checklist!
Make sure to share your #FallFavorites with us on Instagram or Facebook @momminlivinworkin! We can't wait to see all the fun things you do!
Not only are there a ton of FUN (even if they are cliché) things to do during fall, it also means warm sweaters, comfy hoodies and soft scarves! Those fall colors are comin' up stat in everyone's newsfeed, I can promise you that! Here are a few things you can do to get excited for fall-
Get your closet ready! Pull out those booties, sweaters, scarfs and leggings (let's be honest leggings are a ladies best friend!) I adore fall fashion, so easy to make it comfy, cute, etc.
Bring out the fall decor! Decorating is one of my favorite things, I think it makes your home cozy, brings a 'fresh' look and adds some new color into your lives!
Host a football party! What says fall like Football?! Chances are the crazy of back to school has subsided, things have settled a little bit before your kiddos fall sports start so have a little get together! Who doesn't love a little Sunday football, chili and beer? (or wine, or really any adult beverage!)
Get outside! Sure, summertime is the time to be outside, but sometimes its just to dang hot and sticky. Fall is the most perfect time! Throw on a hoody and some leggings and take a hike, walk through a park, have a bonfire!
Embrace fall, worry about winter later! :-)
Happy Fallin'!
